Inspecting Sketch Text and Shared Styles

I kind of expected that this was half the point of Avocode in the first place.
Developers would be able to see all my nicely styled layers, click on them and see "Main Heading 1" as the style name or whatever, store the values for that style in their code and then whenever else they saw 'Main Heading 1" on other layers they would know how to handle it > refer to the code for "Main Heading 1".
Sadly that isn't yet the case and we just see fonts text and colour values etc. instead of style names.
Gets my vote. :-)

Indeed. It would be useful for developers to see Text styles or Layer styles when inspecting an element.

On the inspect panel, have the layer and text styles listed. This would allow for a better workflow inside of a design system.

Very important function! And it is very lacking. Now, in our projects, 20 or more styles per one breakpoint. And the 6-8 breakpoints. It is very difficult to give developers the right text styles, because they do not see them in layouts. For them, all styles are just font sizes and interlining. Designers and developers do not work in the same space, but would like to.

Now there is now way developer to see what style designer has used.
Workaround is to name the layer with the style like .header-title put that would take lots of pointless time.
Please make this happen! :)
